Equipment at my school and how often I use it (7)

The Laptop

There is firstly a Laptop (Toshiba) in every class for teachers to use. Apart from the obvious functions for research and documentation which help a teacher for planning a lesson, they also now through a software 'SIMS' take register's and work levels from subjects. 

  We are currently piloting a new behaviour electronic sheet on there as paper versions are taking too long. Apart from the teacher laptop there are a few additional laptop placed in classes solely for core subject catch up work

There is one in my current class which i have used with pupils go and use cool maths, sumdog, rapid maths and rapid english. These visual programme aid's improve confidence and records pupils progress.

Computers

           

At my service setting we are fortunate to have a computer suite with some up to date computers and windows 10 software on them. The pupils love accessing this room where they are confident to work independently. However they have an individual ID log in number which is monitored for security reasons.

Wi Fi has recently been installed throughout our school which has significantly improve the effectiveness and quality of all technology!!!
